Classic professions at FRIGOLOGO
Dispatchers coordinate the flow of goods; this means they are responsible at FRIGOLOGO for ensuring that our customers’ goods are at the right place at the right time. Depending on the destination or pick-up point, orders are processed at FRIGOLOGO in the national disposition (for transports within Austria) or in the international disposition. Incoming customer orders for the transport of foodstuffs are allocated to the available trucks in compliance with all legal and physical requirements. With their organisational skills, dispatchers plan an efficient chronological sequence of transport routes and keep an eye on the consignments thanks to the digital transport management system. Their job also includes talking to customers on the phone or negotiating with carriers. They work closely with the warehouse, drivers and customer service to ensure that orders are processed smoothly.

Employees in the customer service department are an important interface between the customers, the dispatchers and all warehouse areas. As the first point of contact for our customers, Customer Service is responsible for all customer correspondence in day-to-day operations. They help customers with all kinds of questions, provide delivery information, deal with complaints or request missing documents. The primary goal in customer service is to ensure customer satisfaction.

Classic tasks in the warehouse include loading and unloading trucks, storing goods, picking according to customer orders and dispatching goods. You ensure orderliness, cleanliness and responsible handling of stored foodstuffs. The stocktaking of the warehouse and the management of loading equipment/empties also fall within the scope of duties. At FRIGOLOGO, operations are carried out in three shifts to ensure continuous fresh food logistics.
