It’s simple! Your child sends us a CV and – ideally – a short motivation letter explaining why they would like to start their apprenticeship with us.

Then we invite them for a personal interview. For us, it’s important to get to know not only their professional interests but also their personality.

As a parent, you can support your child in advance by discussing potential questions and identifying strengths together.

Your child should enjoy organizing, planning, and communicating with others.

While independent work is important to us, our apprentices are never left alone – we guide them step by step.

Of course not! No one starts out as a pro.

Our apprenticeship trainers are there from the very beginning to share knowledge and explain new tasks.

The most important thing is motivation and an openness to learning. Everything else comes with time.

Yes! Apprentices who show dedication can take part in exciting projects, advance more quickly, and receive special recognition – such as bonuses or even an internship abroad.

We want our new apprentices to feel welcome from day one.

That’s why we start with an introduction round where they get to know the team, the workplace, and their daily routine.

This ensures a smooth start and a comfortable settling-in period.

Through our Apprenticeship Academy, we offer a dedicated platform for personal and professional growth.

Our apprentices attend workshops and trainings where they gain essential future skills – from communication and teamwork to career planning.

Depending on the apprenticeship, vocational school takes place at different schools across Austria, usually in blocks.

This means apprentices attend school for several weeks at a time to focus on theoretical learning. They then return to the company to put what they’ve learned into practice. This ensures an optimal blend of theory and hands-on experience.

Yes! Every FRIGOLOGO location has a dedicated apprenticeship coordinator who supports the apprentices – and is also available to answer parents’ questions. If you need information or assistance, feel free to contact the coordinator at your child’s location.

An apprenticeship with us lays the foundation for a successful career. After completing their training, your child has several options:

• Direct entry into the workforce – Many of our former apprentices stay with us and take on exciting roles in their field.
• Further education – An apprenticeship can be a springboard for additional qualifications like master-level exams or specialized certifications.
• Career growth within the company – Dedicated apprentices have the chance to move into more responsible roles after their training – such as specialist, team leader, or expert in a specific area.

Our goal is to train our apprentices as well as possible and integrate them into our team long-term.

Many of our former apprentices still work with us – some even in management positions.

However, we can’t guarantee permanent employment, as this depends on various factors such as performance, company needs, and personal development.
